Don’t let me wait too long

Announced four years ago as his next documentary project (after tackling Dylan and the Stones), Martin Scorsese’s George Harrison documentary Living in the Material World is slated for a two-night premiere on HBO beginning October 5, with a DVD and OST release rumored to follow. Soon, hopefully.

Keith Richards called him “Farmer George” because of his love for gardening, but the Quiet Beatle is about to get a little louder. The tragedy is that the legendary guitarist and songwriter, who died in 2001 after a long battle with cancer, is not here to witness it.
