Just who are Penny & The Quarters? A short-lived familial R&B group that never made the big time, until an estate sale find turned into a anonymous track on an indie label compilation and then that track was plucked out of obscurity and showcased prominently in an Oscar-nominated film, that’s who.

Watch the video of Penny & The Quarters’ long lost song “You and Me”, a one-take recording from 1970 set to footage of the film that brought it to light, Blue Valentine.
